Two very different philosophies live in our store. Chento King waits for three indicators to agree and takes one trade with a stop. Chento Gridder V2 opens a basket, averages on a grid and closes at a money target. Both can make money; they lose money in completely different ways. Choose by which losing week you can tolerate.
How each one loses
- Chento King loses in small, frequent, visible pieces: a stopped-out trade is closed at −1% and that is the end of it. Win rate is moderate (typically 45–55%), reward-to-risk carries the edge. Equity curve is jagged but drawdowns are bounded by your risk setting.
- Gridder V2 wins in many small pieces (62% win rate in the published report) and loses rarely but in one large piece if a basket is caught in a one-way move without protection. Equity floats negative while a basket builds — 37% equity drawdown in our report — then snaps back at target.
Decision table
- Account under $300 (cent): Gridder V2. King’s single trades are too small to matter on cents.
- Standard account $300–$2,000: Chento King at 1% risk per trade. Sleep well.
- You cannot watch floating loss without panicking: King. A grid basket at −25% equity that finishes +$30 an hour later is normal for grids and unbearable for some people.
- You trade only gold: Gridder V2 is built for XAUUSD’s mean-reverting swings. King works on any pair; on gold it is fine but not specialised.
- You want to run both: King on EURUSD/GBPUSD M15 and Gridder on XAUUSD M5 on the same account is a reasonable pairing — different logic, different symbols, uncorrelated drawdowns. Keep total grid exposure to our sizing rule.
What Chento King actually checks
EMA trend (21/50) for direction, RSI (14) for momentum, MACD (12/26/9) for confirmation; a trade fires only when at least two of three agree in the same direction, filtered by H4/H1 trend context. Smart trailing moves the stop behind price once in profit. Fixed lot or risk % sizing, max trades per day, spread filter.
